Chinese Orchestra

Our Chinese Orchestra CCA offers students a platform for growth, discipline, and cultural appreciation.

By learning traditional Chinese instruments such as the erhu, pipa, yangqin, and suona, students not only develop musical skills but also deepen their understanding of Chinese heritage.

Through participation in school celebrations and external performances, students build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility. These experiences allow them to proudly represent the school while cultivating perseverance and commitment.

Every two years, students compete in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), pushing themselves to achieve excellence. The dedication and effort required for this challenge help foster resilience, discipline, and a strong work ethic – qualities essential for their future.

Through the Chinese Orchestra CCA, students gain valuable life skills while being part of a supportive and enriching community.
